The Weekly Meditation Group hosts retreats as opportunities to experience sustained meditation practice in Orlando, Florida. There are two types:
Mornings of Meditation
About every other month, we offer a morning of meditation. The morning consists of sitting and walking meditation as well as some discussion. This is a great opportunity to get a small taste of sustained meditation practice. This program is offered on a donation basis. Check the calendar on this site for upcoming dates and further details.
Meditation and Yoga Days
About every three months we offer a day of group meditation and yoga. There is sitting and walking meditation, gentle yoga (which anyone can do), and some group discussion. This is a great opportunity to get a small taste of sustained meditation practice with the complementary element of yoga. A vegetarian lunch is provided. This program is offered on a donation basis.
